About me

Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I received my Masters degree from Cedar Crest College and I have been practicing for 5 years. I am passionate about helping you feel empowered and equipped to overcome life's challenges and transitions. Our ability to overcome adversity is often gauged by our willingness to ask for help when we need it.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know each other and begin the process of establishing trust. I also want to begin to understand what your needs are and what challenges you're facing. This will help us develop a unique and tailored plan to use in follow-up sessions. We'll continue to work on building trust in subsequent sessions so that you can feel safe in a non-judgmental and compassionate space.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I'm passionate about helping others and take pride in my willingness to meet others exactly where they are on their journey. In my experiences with children and families over the past 5 years, I have learned how to identify root causes of challenges and how to help make improvements over their ability to overcome challenges with an organized plan.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with adolescents and adults seeking to improve their quality of life by making some changes. I am here to help. Do you ever feel burdened by life's challenges or are feeling hopeless-as if things won't change? I can help you work on life's challenges and barriers and help you learn new ways to cope and manage stress. There are times where I will help you feel heard, seen and validated and times for gentle challenging in order to empower you to overcome adversity. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, shame, self-criticism, and/or relational challenges, we can work together to make improvements for a healthier and more fulfilling life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

It’s often helpful to take a closer look at your thought-processes and to identify whether these are either working for you or against you.

Christian Counseling

I would never force faith-based approaches into your therapeutic journey. If interested, I can help you explore your faith alongside your thoughts, emotions, relationships, mental health and overall well being.

Compassion Focused

Often we treat others better than we treat ourselves. It's necessary to have compassion for ourselves in order to live healthy lives. Shame and guilt are often the most difficult emotions to experience but most often the least talked about and explored. It's often necessary to discover better ways of treating oneself in order to truly feel happy and fulfilled.

Attachment-based

Our early attachment experiences with caregivers helped shape our current and future relationships patterns and ways of interacting. Since we are relational beings, sometimes it's necessary to look at how our self-perception and ways of interacting either draw us closer to others or prevent true connections and fulfilment.
