(she/her)
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I specialize in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions across the lifespan. I provide comprehensive care that includes assessment, therapy, and medication management, working collaboratively with patients to develop personalized treatment plans. My goal is to support individuals in achieving better mental well-being and improving their quality of life through compassionate, evidence-based care.
In your first session with me, you can expect a thorough and supportive evaluation of your mental health. We’ll discuss your history, any current concerns or symptoms, and your goals for treatment. This is also a time for you to ask questions and get to know how I work as a provider. Depending on what we discuss, I may recommend a treatment plan that could include therapy, medication, or both. Our focus will be on building a trusting relationship and ensuring you feel heard and understood throughout the process.
I believe my greatest strengths as a PMHNP are my ability to listen deeply and my commitment to a collaborative approach. I take the time to understand my clients’ unique experiences, ensuring they feel seen and respected throughout the treatment process. I also emphasize personalized care, tailoring treatment plans to fit each individual’s specific needs and preferences. Additionally, I stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in mental health, which allows me to provide evidence-based, effective interventions. Above all, I’m dedicated to creating a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable and empowered in their healing journey.
I’m best positioned to serve clients who are seeking compassionate, individualized care for a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, and more. I work well with individuals who value a collaborative approach to treatment and who are open to exploring both therapy and medication as potential options. Whether you're dealing with a recent life transition, long-standing mental health challenges, or simply need support in managing stress or emotions, I’m here to help. I also enjoy working with clients who want to take an active role in their treatment, partnering together to create a plan that fits their needs and goals.
I use Motivational Interviewing to build trust with my patients, explore any concerns they have about treatment, and support their motivation for change. Through active listening and open-ended questions, I help them identify their own reasons for treatment, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
