Virtual

Hello and welcome to my virtual office. I am eager and excited to meet with you and help to resolve the issues that are creating difficulties in your life. I am a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with 23 years of experience in diverse aspects of therapy. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore obstacles with a concern related to anxiety, depression, and/or self-care. I focus on helping clients develop assertive communication and boundaries with themselves and those around them to improve their quality of life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will include a meet and greet sharing the issues about why you are seeking therapy discussing options on how to go about it and allowing both to share their concerns. We will also discuss a plan of action to support your needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

The greatest strength I have to offer is honesty and years of educated experience in life which adds to my understanding of the issues experienced by clients' everyday challenges

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-centered is a type of non-directive therapy that is empathetically driven toward a safe space to talk, self-actualize, and make positive changes in your life. Some of the examples of clients who would benefit include those with relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and transitions in life

Strength-Based

This method is a positive psychotherapy approach that focuses on a client's strengths and internal resources, rather than focusing on the weaknesses. It is based on the idea that clients can use their strengths to overcome challenges, improve relationships, and boost their well-being. It helps to empathize with what is right in your life rather than what is wrong. The goal is to help clients develop a positive mindset and build resilience.

Integrative

Integrative therapy is a personalized approach that combines techniques from multiple therapeutic schools of thought. It is based on the client'; needs and their expertise. The goal is designed to create a treatment plan that is tailored to the individual. This method can be useful for a variety of mental health conditions and psychological issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and stress.
