Let us de-stigmatize mental health: people seek oil changes to keep their car running and/or annual teeth cleaning as a part of their medical hygiene and routine. Mental health therapy can be seen as an emotional tune-up. There is no shame in seeking help or support. If you are looking to process/work through a difficult time, situation, or emotion I can be of assistance. My name is Kendra and I graduated from Liberty University in 2013 with a M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have over 10 years of experience in the mental/behavioral health field. My specialties include stress management, family systems, and life transitions. I can assist with managing your current stress or anxiety. I use an integrative and person-centered approach to be solution focused on your unique need. Whatever the reason you are seeking counseling I will be here to help process, encourage, and empower you through your therapeutic journey.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, individuals can expect us to discuss what they are looking for or what brings them to therapy. We will discuss what they are expecting and how we best can get them to their goals together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am accepting adults and adolescents. I am only accepting virtually; therefore, the most appropriate fit would be someone willing to communicate through the computer. I have experience working with couples, families, and individuals.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with individuals that are looking for skills or tools to help them manage through their life journey. I believe it is important to be reflective and motivated to change. I am here as a guide; the individual is really the expert of their experience.
