Our first session is a gentle starting point—an opportunity for us to begin building a connection. We'll take time to get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy, including the goals you’re hoping to reach and the challenges that may be getting in the way. We’ll also talk about any past therapy experiences—what’s been helpful and what hasn’t—so we can shape a path forward that truly supports you. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered from the very beginning.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I often incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into my work with clients. DBT is especially helpful for managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and building coping skills. I use it to help clients become more aware of their thoughts and feelings, while also learning practical tools like mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication. It’s a collaborative process where we focus on both acceptance and change—helping you feel more grounded, resilient, and in control.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

At the heart of my work is Person-Centered Therapy—a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach that honors your unique voice and experience. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel truly seen and heard.
