New to Grow
My name is Leslie Dalencour, I have been a therapist for over 20 years. With over two decades in mental health and nearly a decade in private practice, I bring a holistic, integrative approach to well-being through sound healing and holistic and somatic therapies. As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a long-standing practitioner in the field, I specialize in blending traditional psychotherapy with body-centered modalities to support lasting resilience and inner balance.
During our first session, I will often give you a brief description about myself. We will then go over paperwork and I will often ask you questions in order to get to know you. I want to help you develop your goals and set up boundaries that would be most helpful to you. y approach is grounded in compassion, client autonomy, and non-judgmental listening. I use evidence-informed practices paired with experiential insight to foster a safe, healing environment. I also believe in a patient, collaborative mindset—believing in the healing potential of sound as a complementary tool within a broader wellness plan.
I would consider myself to be easy to get to know and connect with. I have a passion for nurturing balance, restoration, and inner peace. I am dedicated to guiding individuals on their wellness journey through the transformative power of sound. As a Sound Healing Therapist at The Self-Care Academy, I combine practitioner training, mindfulness principles, and a compassionate approach to create spaces where clients can unwind, release tension, and reconnect with their natural rhythm.
I’m a holistic mental health therapist and my ideal client is curious about non-traditional, holistic approaches and are willing to explore how mind, body, and environment interconnect. My ideal client recognizes self-sabotaging patterns and are ready to build confidence through small meaningful wins, self-compassion, and strength based strategies. I also enjoy working with clients who experience major changes such as starting a new job or career, welcoming a baby, getting married or divorce, or becoming single again. I enjoy supporting clients through scaffolding, adaptive coping, and meaning-making redefine purpose and direction.collaborating in. I frequently see clients experiencing anxiety or chronic worry, and I helped them develop practical tools to reduce symptoms and enhance functioning.
