What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Welcome to therapy! I know you are wondering what to expect from your counseling sessions. It is important for you to explore your own feelings and thoughts and to try new approaches in order for change to occur. The success of our work together depends on the quality of the efforts on both our parts, and the realization that your are responsible for lifestyle choices/changes that may result from therapy. Progress for counseling may not be guaranteed. My goal is to provide a safe space for you to discuss any questions you may have regarding the treatment plan. You can expect me to always strive to provide quality care for you, as the client, and support you in reaching a resolution to the issues at hand.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
The practice of counseling is to utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Family and Marriage Therapy, Trauma-Focused, Family Systems, Christian Counseling, Psychotherapy and affective treatment methods and strategies to achieve mental, emotional, physical, and social development and adjustment throughout the life span.
