As a Licensed Professional Counselor and AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist, I specialize in working with Millennial, Gen-Z, BIPOC and LGBTQIA clients through a culturally-sensitive, queer-affirming, sex-positive lens. With 10+ years of experience in the field, I love to collaborate with my clients to work on anxiety, sexual wellness, burnout, relationships, and confidence-building. My goal is to make mental health therapy services accessible to all.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I prefer to take a collaborative approach while working together, identifying and addressing your concerns, and developing coping strategies to make life feel manageable again. I practice from a queer-affirming, sex-positive, inclusive lens and aim to provide tailored care for every client. Whatever your concern, I will mindfully support and guide you on your journey towards growth and fulfillment.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My mission is simple: to help people feel better. This, along with 10+ years of clinical experience, inspired me to create my private practice, Curated Change Psychotherapy and Coaching. I am passionate about helping millennial and gen-z populations with concerns related to anxiety, LGBTQ+ and BIPOC issues, sexuality, sexual health, confidence, and self-discovery. Through my diverse educational and clinical experiences, I have enriched my understanding of human psychology, effective therapeutic techniques, and sexual health, enabling me to provide comprehensive and holistic support to my clients. With a deep understanding of the complexities of human behavior and relationships, I am committed to promoting emotional well-being and personal growth in my practice. As a millennial myself, I fully understand the difficulties that most folks experience on a daily basis, from concerns about political upheaval, climate change, cost of living and the economy, work/life balance, stress management, and interpersonal conflicts.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

As a Pakistani-American daughter of immigrants, I understand the cultural complexities of navigating as a woman of color in an increasingly uncertain world. I am passionate about working with Millennial and Gen-Z populations, and practices with psychodynamic, relational and emotion-focused techniques. I specialize in three main areas: anxiety work, LGBTQ/BIPOC/South Asian cultural issues, and sexual wellness and education. Given the current political climate, I also work with daily stress, coping, and managing the heaviness of modern life.
