I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from Northern California with over 33 years experience working in the field of Social Work. I have worked extensively with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds . I have an Undergraduate degree in Social Welfare from The University of California, Berkeley. I also have a Master of Social Work degree from San Francisco State University.
In our first session we will discuss the therapeutic process, confidentiality, and the challenges you are currently facing. This discussion will help create the treatment goals that we will work through in follow-up sessions.
My approach is supportive, open minded and non-judgmental. In a safe environment, I will help you better understand your unhelpful thought patterns. I will also help you recognize how your thoughts, feelings and behaviors all influence one another.
I enjoy working with adults to address issues related to life transitions, self-esteem, and coping skills.
