New to Grow
I’m a licensed therapist with a background in community-based mental health, which means I’ve worked with a wide range of experiences, challenges, and life circumstances. I show up as both compassionate and real; I care deeply, and I’m also not afraid to be gently direct when it’s helpful. I believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative, so we’ll work together to understand what’s going on and figure out what actually feels meaningful and doable for you.
Our first session is about getting a sense of you—what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been carrying, and what you’re hoping for (even if you’re not totally sure yet). I’ll ask questions, but there’s no pressure to have everything figured out or to share more than you’re ready to. You can expect a space that feels grounded, supportive, and nonjudgmental, with a pace that meets you where you are. By the end, we’ll start identifying what direction feels right and what you want out of this process.
My approach is strengths-based, collaborative, and flexible. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Therapy should fit you, not the other way around. I meet clients where they are, while also gently guiding, modeling, and, when it feels right, challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Clients often tell me they appreciate that I’m both validating and honest—I’ll sit with you in the hard moments, but I’ll also help you move forward. My goal isn’t just insight, but helping you build awareness, confidence, and tools that actually translate into your day-to-day life.
