Hi there! I’m Carrie, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who’s passionate about helping women live the life they were created for. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, grief, stress, burnout, or the everyday challenges of life, you don’t have to face it alone—I’m here to help. I especially enjoy working with women and those navigating faith-related questions. Therapy can be a wonderful space to explore your beliefs, rediscover your strengths, and reconnect with your purpose in a safe and supportive environment. Together, we’ll identify your goals, build new skills, and create meaningful changes that help you feel more grounded and fulfilled. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, accepted, and hopeful as we work toward the life you want to live. If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing and growth, I’d love to walk alongside you on your journey. Let’s get started!
Your first session is designed to help you get to know each other. We’ll take some time to discuss what’s bringing you to therapy and what you’d like to achieve through it. This is a safe, judgment-free space to share your story and begin building a foundation for growth. I’ll ask a few questions to learn more about your background, current concerns, and goals, but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. If desired, we will discuss how faith or spirituality may play a role in your healing process. Together, we’ll begin to create a plan that feels right for you. Most importantly, my goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.
I’ve had the privilege of working with high-risk children and families in community mental health and foster care settings, as well as supporting women through life’s many transitions. I especially love bringing together my Christian faith and psychology to help others find healing, hope, and direction. I’m known for being genuine, empathetic, and able to see what’s beneath the surface. I truly enjoy helping people discover their strengths, believe in their potential, and feel supported as they navigate life’s challenges. If you are a mental health professional and are interested in clinical supervision, please send me a message to discuss your interest.
I love working with women who are ready to take steps toward healing and growth. My approach is individually focused, and I enjoy supporting clients through faith-related concerns, anxiety, depression, postpartum experiences, stress and burnout, self-esteem and confidence challenges, and life transitions. I work best with clients who are open, curious, and engaged in the process—those who want to better understand themselves and create lasting, positive change in their lives.
Christian Counseling
A Christian counseling approach combines professional counseling techniques with a faith-based perspective. This means we’ll explore your emotional and spiritual needs together, using biblical principles and prayer as part of the healing process. The goal is to help you find hope, peace, and direction through both practical tools and God’s truth.
Strength-Based
A strengths-based approach means we focus on what’s right with you—not just what’s hard right now. Together, we’ll identify your unique abilities, values, and past successes to help you move forward. By building on your strengths, you can gain confidence, find hope, and create lasting positive change in your life.
Supportive
A supportive approach to counseling means you don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. In our sessions, you’ll find a safe and understanding space to talk, process emotions, and feel heard. Together, we’ll focus on your strengths, build confidence, and work toward solutions that help you feel more balanced and supported in daily life.
Eclectic
My counseling approach is flexible and tailored to meet your needs. I draw on several evidence-based methods—including CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, family systems therapy, and trauma-informed care—to help you build insight, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful change. Together, we’ll work to understand your experiences, strengthen relationships, and support healing in a way that feels safe, compassionate, and empowering.
