Hi there! My name is Carrie, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who wants to help you live the life you were created to! Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, stress, parenting challenges, life transitions, burnout, or simply trying to keep up with the demands of everyday life, I am here to help. I particularly enjoy working with women's issues and faith-related concerns. Therapy can be a great place to explore faith-related questions you may have. Together, we identify goals to help create a better version of yourself. Therapy can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to help you feel safe and accepted on your journey. I enjoy helping others reach their potential and am confident we can achieve this together. I look forward to connecting with you!
In our first session we will explore the issues that are bringing you to therapy and review some basic life history.
My sessions use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Systems Theory, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused and faith-based approaches. I work to shift thought patterns, rewrite internal scripts, develop healthier interactional patterns, and develop new perspectives of your experiences. I also provide clinical supervision for professionals. If you are a mental health professional and are interested in clinical supervision, please reach me at 717-500-1296.
I have previous experience working with high-risk children and families in a community healthcare setting. I believe my clinical strengths include connecting with others, understanding their challenges, and walking alongside them during difficult times in life. If you are a mental health professional and are interested in clinical supervision, please reach me at 717-500-1296.
Individually oriented therapy. I primarily want to work with women ages 18 and up. Areas I prefer include faith-related concerns, anxiety, depression, post-partum, and life transitions.
