I am a LCSW in the state of Colorado and Michigan. I graduated from the University of Denver where I studied having a trauma informed approach and working with Medication Assited treatment teams to treat client wholistically. I have worked in a variety of roles throughout my profession and supported a wide variety of clients. I look forward to meeting clients where they are at and supporting them with the goals that clients establish for themselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients can expect in a first session that I take the time to get to know the clients background and how to support them moving forward with treatment goals that the client sets for themselves.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I like to meet clients individual unique needs as I feel individuals are all have their own set of strengths that they can use to support forward growth. I do not feel that clients should be put in boxes, and I treat clients as such through listening, providing empathy, and validating the client's experiences.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with a variety of clients who are in need of support and tools that support clients in meeting their overall goals/wellbeing.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I work with clients to understand how to use ACT in their everyday lives to support them with feeling better about themselves and the world around them.

Christian Counseling

I use Christian counseling to support clients who are looking for faith-based practices to support them in their everyday lives.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT with clients to work on understanding negative core beliefs/thought patterns that exist around ones-self, others, and the world to help clients understand how their thinking can have an impact on their everyday life.
