PMHNP, 22 years of experience
Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional psychiatric provider based in North Carolina. I received my Masters from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, PhD from Walden University, Post-Masters PMHNP certificate from Regis College, MA and have a clinical experience taking care of patients in medical specialties for over 30 years and now a practitioner in psychiatry. I help children, adolescents, young adults and the geriatric populations struggling with life stressor of different categories from Autistic/ADHD spectrum, anxiety, depression, addiction, schizophrenia, bipolar disorders etc. and assist clients to become the best versions of themselves.
Typically in our first meeting together, we'll start with brief introductions to establish a doable working relationship-to feel that I am your right fit, and then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help us (you and me) to create a tailored plan to work through in follow-up sessions.
Having worked with many patients and families in different settings for the past 22 years, I've developed an automatic emotional connectedness for helping many patients and their families to (a) identify the root cause of their challenges and (b) created a workable, positive, and functional treatment plan that leads to measurable progress.
I help children, adolescents, young adults and the geriatric populations struggling with life stressor of different categories from Autistic/ADHD spectrum, anxiety, depression, addiction, schizophrenia, bipolar disorders. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make their goals a reality. The clients and their significant others often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their emotional/mental improvement.
