Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania. I graduated from Chatham University and have had my LPC for 4 years. I have been working in the mental health field for 10 years in a variety of roles, including in foster care, drug and alcohol, and outpatient therapy. I use a behavioral approach to help people learn new skills to manage anxiety, stress, depression, and distressing thoughts.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our initial session, we'll work on getting to know one another. I like to start sessions in learning what you enjoy doing and about what's going on in your life right now. We will work to identify the goals you would like to work on, like learning new skills to manage stress, improve relationships, or regulate difficult emotions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I've had 10 years of experience working with individuals in a variety of settings. One thing that is true with all of my experiences is that therapy is only successful when there is a strong foundation of respect. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a real relationship where we work together as partners. The person I work with knows what they want to change in their life and are in charge of the goals of therapy. I provide the skills that will help you to reach those goals. Together, we can work together to make the life you want to live!

My treatment methods

Daialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have had the foundational training and 3 years practice as a DBT therapist. I work with you to identify "life worth living" and set goals on how you can achieve your best life. I teach different skills that reduce harmful behaviors and thoughts and promote helpful behaviors that get you closer to the life worth living.

Trauma Informed Care

I am a trauma informed therapist, meaning I understand the impact that trauma can play on mental health. I can explore topics related to trauma at your own pace while still focusing on your main goals of therapy.
