I’ve had the privilege of supporting others for 25 years, which has given me a deeper understanding of the challenges and stressors people of all ages face. I have expereince working with people living with addictions, teenagers, couples, and anxiety. Through this experience, I’ve developed a strong ability to offer meaningful assistance. I use a relational approach combined with Cognitive-Behavioral techniques to help individuals find relief and foster personal growth.
Everyone is unique and has their own way of relating to themselves, others, and the world around them. In our first session, you can expect me to listen attentively and ask questions to better understand your experience. I’ll also take the time to explain my counseling approach and answer any questions you might have.
Throughout my experience, I have developed the ability to help individuals recognize and understand their own patterns of thinking, feeling, and behavior.
Getting along with ourselves and others can be challenging, often leaving us feeling confused and frustrated. It can create uncertainty and self-doubt, especially when we're trying to navigate our thoughts and emotions while dealing with life's stresses. While having structure, expectations, and standards is important for daily life, we sometimes don’t realize we’re sacrificing our well-being or others' in the process. Imagine needing to paint a room—you could probably figure it out and do it yourself. But with someone to help, it would be easier and done more quickly. That’s where I come in: I’m here to help you create and manage the life you want, without judgment or criticism. Together, we can work through it and find the path that works for you.
REBT is an interactive therapy approach, the client and I work together to identify and challenge negative thought patterns to lead to negative feeling and behaviors.
A focus is centered on the relationship patterns a person has with themselves and others.
