Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Pennsylvania who has been practicing in psychiatry & social work for over 15 years. I obtained my undergraduate degree from the University of Scranton & my MSW from Temple University. I enjoy helping adults navigate life's transitions, anxiety, depression & addiction. As a therapist, I bring a wealth of experience in helping individuals identify their stressors & planning together. I've worked with diverse populations facing a range of challenges, from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and life transitions. My approach is tailored to each client's unique needs and strengths. I create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment, empowering you to develop coping mechanisms, build resilience, and achieve your personal goals. I am passionate about fostering healing and growth, and I am dedicated to helping you live a more fulfilling life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our therapy sessions will offer a safe and confidential space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. You can expect to discuss whatever is on your mind, whether it's related to current challenges, past experiences, or future goals. I listen empathetically and without judgment, offering support and guidance as you work towards greater self-understanding and positive change. While therapy can sometimes be challenging, it's ultimately a collaborative process where we work together to achieve your well-being goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a crisis clinician for many years, I possess a range of strengths that contribute to effective healing and growth. These include deep empathy and compassion, allowing my client to truly understand and validate their experiences. I am an excellent listener, creating a safe space for you to share openly and honestly. I am adept at identifying patterns in your thoughts and behaviors, helping you gain self-awareness. I offer evidence-based techniques and strategies tailored to your specific needs, empowering you to develop coping mechanisms and achieve your goals. Furthermore, I maintain professional boundaries while fostering a genuine connection, creating a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

A dream client isn't someone who's perfectly put-together or problem-free. Instead, they bring a willingness to engage in the therapeutic process. They are open to exploring their thoughts and feelings, even the uncomfortable ones, and are curious about gaining self-awareness. They understand that therapy is a collaborative effort and are willing to actively participate, both in sessions and by reflecting on their experiences outside of therapy. While they may struggle and have setbacks, they are committed to the process of growth and are willing to be vulnerable. Ultimately, a dream client is someone who shows up authentically and trusts in the therapeutic relationship, working with me towards their goals.

My treatment methods

Narrative

As an LCSW, I find that understanding the, "why & whats" that cause people to act, react & feel things differently are incredibly important. I try to understand you as an individual & by using a compassionate & caring approach helps you to learn & grow through sessions. I want to hear your story so that we can understand more & work towards increasing coping and communication throughout your sessions.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize mindfulness along with providing homework to use between sessions so that we can better understand what works for each client.
