Hello! Congratulations on taking the first step towards self-improvement. I see myself as a tool used to support and facilitate change in the client on their journey towards self-improvement. I have a diverse background working with children, adolescents, couples, and the LGBTQIA+ population. Influenced by cognitive, behavioral, client-centered, solution-focused, and existential theories; I use an eclectic approach tailored to fit each client's needs. My well-rounded perspective encourages clients to find a balance in what often seems "unbalanced" lifestyle. I believe a caring and collaborative approach is the basis for counseling. My sense of humor combined with an empathetic style provides a comfortable, supportive, and therapeutic environment enabling personal growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In an intake session clients can expect to discuss their presenting concerns (what brings them in to therapy) and their goals for treatment (how they want to utilize their counseling sessions). Together we will discuss their family history and gain an understanding of the mental health symptoms they experience and how it affects their daily lives. Furthermore, clients will understand the theoretical approach of this therapist, what she can bring to sessions to help, and have the opportunity to ask questions and/or address concerns.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring years of experience and valuable education to the counseling profession. My well-rounded perspective allows me to address multiple mental health needs and in a collaborative way that allows the client to design their personalized treatment plan. My sense of humor combined with an empathetic style provides a comfortable, supportive, and therapeutic environment enabling personal growth.

She gives feedback that’s instantly useful. She certainly understands trauma and how it can affect many things we do and don’t doin our lives. She asks hard questions that are also the right questions. Her friendly demeanor put me at ease right away. I felt seen and heard when the session was over.
