(she/her)
Welcome, and thank you for considering CopeWell Psychiatry & Wellness. I’m glad you’re here. I’m a doctoral-prepared, dual-certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner, and I provide integrative mental health care for adults navigating anxiety, depression, mood concerns, ADHD, sleep difficulties, trauma, burnout, and life transitions. My approach is gentle, collaborative, and centered on you. I take time to listen, explain options clearly, and work with you to create a treatment plan that feels supportive, realistic, and aligned with your goals. I value shared decision-making and strive to create a space where you feel safe discussing your symptoms, experiences, and history. Your voice matters, and your involvement plays an important role in shaping your care. I work with individuals ages 17-64 and especially enjoy supporting college-aged/young adults, professionals, nurses and healthcare workers, and individuals from BIPOC and immigrant communities. I offer psychiatric evaluations, medication management, brief supportive therapy, genetic testing, and holistic care that may include lifestyle, sleep, and nutrition support. Mental health care should feel respectful, empowering, and tailored to you. I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
Please complete all new patient forms at least 48 hours before your appointment so I can review them and ensure I’m the right fit for your needs. During our first session, we’ll talk through what’s been going on for you, review your medical and mental health history, and explore what may be contributing to your symptoms. When appropriate, we may also discuss optional genetic testing as a tool to help guide more personalized treatment decisions and reduce trial-and-error with medications. Together, we’ll identify next steps and develop a personalized treatment plan, which may include medication, lifestyle changes, or other integrative strategies; always guided by what feels sustainable for you. Note For ADHD diagnosis: I use objective testing as part of the diagnostic process. This may require more than one appointment to adequately assess the symptoms you are experiencing. I also do not prescribe benzodiazepines for anxiety or other conditions. My goal is to support you with thoughtful, evidence-informed care that prioritizes your long-term well-being.
I offer an integrative, whole-person approach that considers your emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being, not just symptoms. I take time to understand your story and collaborate with you on care that aligns with your values and lifestyle. You remain in control of your treatment, and my role is to provide guidance, education, and support so you feel informed and empowered.
I work best with adults who want to better understand what’s contributing to their distress, whether anxiety, low mood, burnout, or difficulty focusing, and are looking for thoughtful, personalized care. Many of my patients are new to psychiatric treatment or have had prior experiences that didn’t feel supportive and are seeking a more collaborative approach. Please note: I do not offer therapy-only services. As a nurse practitioner, I provide psychotherapy only in conjunction with medication management and other integrative treatments. I often recommend connecting with a therapist as part of a comprehensive treatment plan and can help you find one if needed.
Integrative
My integrative approach considers your emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. I believe that true healing begins with understanding your unique story and crafting a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your values and goals. Together, we’ll explore holistic options in addition to medication to help you achieve sustainable wellness and improve your overall mental health. You’re in the driver’s seat of your care, and I’m here to empower you with the tools and support you need for lasting wellness.
