PMHNP, 3 years of experience
My name is Diana Hunter-Eldridge. I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practictioner- Board Certified, originally from Brooklyn, NY, and now residing in Charlotte, NC. I attended Walden University for my BS and MSN and am now going for my DNP. I manage mental and behavioral health medication management. What that means is for anyone who has issues with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar, schizophrenia, and addiction, I am here for you. Anyone who is within the ages of 5-95, I am here for you. Anyone who is seeking out help, I am here for you. I believe in working with you and not just for you. Together we can get back control and live a successful life!
Our first session is about getting to know you. This is your time to share whatever is on your mind and heart. There may be some questions you've heard before. Be patient with the process and feel free to open up and express yourself. I'm open to whomever you are. Please be yourself! Cry, laugh, and don't be afraid!
I listen and don't judge. I care and accept that people are individuals with their own personal experiences. I try to meet you where you are and work with you to get the best treatment you can.
I enjoy helping people from any age ranging from 5-95. Whether you're starting school, struggling with insecurities in middle or high school, or need help with focusing in college and a new career, I am here to help. Whether you're a new parent, single, married, divorced, or widowed, this is where you will feel like you belong.
Trauma Informed Care is important in understanding where someone is in their life and how they respond. I keep these into consideration when treatment begins.
