About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and trauma-informed therapist who believes that healing begins when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. My practice focuses on helping individuals, couples, and families navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the unique experiences of neurodivergent individuals. I strive to create a space that feels supportive and authentic while also helping clients develop practical tools for meaningful, lasting change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another without the expectation that you have to tell your entire life story in one hour. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what's happening in your life right now, and what you would like to be different. I'll also ask questions about your history, relationships, strengths, current stressors, and previous experiences with therapy, if any. Most importantly, we'll begin identifying what you want to accomplish and develop a treatment approach that makes sense for you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of where we're going together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring warmth, authenticity, clinical experience, and a direct but compassionate approach to therapy. I don't believe therapy should be one-size-fits-all, so I tailor treatment to each client's needs, personality, experiences, and goals. My work integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Attachment-Based Family Therapy, play-based interventions, and trauma-informed care. I also bring extensive experience working with ADHD, autism, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, attachment concerns, and family and relationship dynamics. Clients can expect more than a space to talk. Together, we work to identify patterns, understand where they originated, develop practical coping and communication skills, and create meaningful changes that extend beyond the therapy room. My goal is to balance compassion with accountability while helping clients recognize their strengths and become active participants in their own healing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is ready to better understand themselves and the patterns that may be keeping them from feeling fulfilled, connected, or at peace. You may be navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship challenges, family concerns, or a major life transition. You may also be someone who appears to have everything together on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted from carrying so much. You don't have to come to therapy already knowing exactly what you need. I enjoy working with clients who are curious about themselves and willing to explore not only what is happening in their lives, but why certain patterns continue to show up. Together, we'll work toward greater self-awareness, healthier relationships, improved coping skills, stronger boundaries, and meaningful change

My treatment methods

Integrative

I use an integrative approach to therapy because I believe treatment should be tailored to the individual rather than expecting every client to fit into one specific therapeutic model. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, attachment-based interventions, mindfulness, solution-focused strategies, and behavioral techniques based on each client's needs, goals, experiences, and readiness for change. For example, we may use CBT to identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, explore attachment and past experiences to better understand current relationship patterns, or incorporate EMDR and trauma-informed strategies when unresolved experiences continue to affect the present. For clients with ADHD or other neurodivergent needs, I may also incorporate practical strategies focused on emotional regulation, executive functioning, organization, and behavior. As treatment progresses, I continually assess what is helping and adjust our approach when needed. My goal is not simply to reduce symptoms, but to help clients understand themselves, develop practical skills, process experiences that continue to affect them, and create changes they can sustain beyond therapy.
