Hello, and welcome. I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adolescents and adults. My practice focuses on treating conditions such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related disorders, ADHD, and other psychiatric concerns through comprehensive evaluations, medication management, and supportive, patient-centered care. I am available Monday through Saturday, offering flexible scheduling to meet the needs of individuals with busy lives. I believe every person deserves to be heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment plan. My approach is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and holistic, recognizing that mental wellness is influenced by emotional, physical, social, and environmental factors. I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where clients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and working toward meaningful, lasting change. My clinical experience, advanced education, and commitment to lifelong learning allow me to provide personalized care that empowers clients to achieve improved mental health and a better quality of life.

First session

During your first session, my goal is to get to know you and understand what has brought you to seek care. We will discuss your current concerns, mental health history, medical history, medications, lifestyle, and any personal or family factors that may be affecting your well-being. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and share your goals for treatment in a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, education, lifestyle recommendations, and referrals for therapy or other supportive services when appropriate. My approach is collaborative and patient-centered, meaning your input is valued every step of the way. By the end of the session, you should have a clearer understanding of your diagnosis, treatment options, and the next steps on your journey toward improved mental health and overall well-being.

Strengths

What sets my approach apart is my commitment to treating the whole person—not just the symptoms. As a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I combine advanced clinical expertise with compassionate, individualized care. I take the time to truly listen, understand your unique experiences, and develop a treatment plan that aligns with your goals, values, and lifestyle rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. I believe that healing begins with trust, respect, and open communication. My clients can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where they feel heard, valued, and actively involved in every treatment decision. I emphasize evidence-based care, thoughtful medication management, education, and collaboration, empowering clients with the knowledge and tools they need to achieve lasting mental wellness. My goal is not only to help you feel better but also to help you build resilience, regain confidence, and improve your overall quality of life.

Ideal clients

I work best with children, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population who are ready to take an active role in improving their mental health and overall well-being. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma, stress, or life transitions, I provide a supportive and collaborative environment where you can feel heard and understood. I also enjoy working with individuals who are seeking clarity about their symptoms, exploring treatment options, or looking for ongoing medication management as part of a comprehensive care plan. My ideal clients are those who value open communication, are willing to engage in the treatment process, and are motivated to make meaningful changes in their lives. Together, we will develop personalized, evidence-based strategies that support your goals, promote resilience, and help you achieve lasting emotional wellness at a pace that feels right for you.

Treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

In my practice, I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed techniques to help clients develop practical skills for managing intense emotions, reducing impulsive behaviors, improving relationships, and coping with stress. While I do not provide comprehensive DBT programs, I integrate core DBT concepts such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness into medication management visits and supportive psychotherapy when appropriate.
