(she/her)
Welcome to your safe place! My name is Dr. Jessie Seide, and I am honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and wellness. I am dual board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner. After several years in clinical practice, I earned my doctoral degree in 2021. My professional experience spans both behavioral and family health, with a focus on hospital-based behavioral health units, partial hospitalization programs, and intensive outpatient care. I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, panic disorder, PTSD, and more. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practice, with an emphasis on holistic, collaborative care. Together, we will create a personalized treatment plan that supports your unique needs, goals, and values through a shared decision-making process. Above all, I am committed to fostering a supportive, judgment-free environment and to addressing healthcare disparities in mental health. If you are struggling, know that you don’t have to face it alone. I am here to help you move forward with compassion, expertise, and care.
During your first session, we’ll get acquainted and discuss what brings you to care. After our initial introduction, I’ll complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation that includes a review of your mental health concerns, medical and psychiatric history, family background, social factors, and current medications. This allows me to understand your overall health and identify your best treatment options. We’ll discuss potential medication strategies, set realistic treatment goals, and create a plan tailored to your unique needs. This session also establishes a safe, supportive and collaborative environment where you can ask questions, share your experiences, and take active steps toward your well-being.
My greatest strength is genuinely listening to my clients and creating a space where they feel seen, heard, and valued. Every individual’s story matters, and I strive to ensure that their needs and goals remain at the heart of their care.
My ideal client is someone who is open-minded, motivated to improve their well-being, and actively engaged in their care. I value clients who ask questions, communicate openly, and collaborate throughout the treatment process. Together, we work through a shared decision-making approach to find the most effective and personalized plan for their needs.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy to manage diverse mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and emotional distress. I use the core principles of cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients learn better ways of coping with psychological issues, to relieve their symptoms, and improve their mental and emotional health. I allow my patients to closely examine their thoughts and emotions to see how they affect them. By enabling clients to evaluate their thoughts, thinking patterns, and habits, they learn and adopt healthier thinking patterns and habits to gain a different perspective to respond better to stress, pain, and difficult situations.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I utilize solution-focused therapy by encouraging clients to identify the situation at hand and emphasizing the search for a solution to the current problem. Clients set specific goals and are encouraged to utilize their strengths to achieve those goals. This type of therapy is goal-oriented with a great emphasis on future hopes while finding solutions to current problems.
