I am a solution-focused, strengths-based, systemic, and experiential family therapist specializing in EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. My clients experience a client-centered and client-led experience where they are treated as the expert of their life and together we uncover the frustrations, disappointments and challenges of life that interfere with their ability to live their best life possible.
I take an individualized, integrative approach to therapy with my clients and operate from the basic premise of cognitive therapy, or "your thoughts become your actions." By doing so, I help clients to recognize, identify and correct negative problematic thought patterns.
I love working with families and I find the greatest professional fulfillment whenever I am able to help couples work through infidelity issues to regain themselves in addition to renewing and restoring their relationship.
As a systemic therapist, I believe our attachments play a pivotal role in how we interpret our experiences and how we interact with others. Attachment at its core speaks to our sense of safety and acceptance and my goal when working with clients is to help them find that sense of safety and to identify if available or discover the attachment figures in their lives that can help them navigate through life.
