I am multi-lingual and multi-cultural and have great respect for people from all backgrounds, ethnicity, race, color, religion, and sexual orientation. I believe we are all in this world together. I value kindness, honesty, and forgiveness. I believe in spirituality and that we are all here to serve a purpose and have a self-responsibility to contribute to better life outcome of our own and other's around us.
Our first session will cultivate a safe place for you to share your thoughts and feelings, knowing that your thoughts and feelings are heard, respected, and not judged. We will together identify the building blocks of your emotions, worries, what has worked for you and what hasn't. We'll spend time exploring the past and talk about your goals for treatment.
I have many years of life, personal, and professional experience which has taught me much about family dynamics, personal relationship, and work stressors.
Young clients who are struggling with day-to-day challenges of life and are in need of setting goals, boundaries, and finding new ways to sustain life challenges. Clients who are suffering from anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorder. I work well with clients who are motivated to make the change to improve their mental and physical health through looking at issues from different facets.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for many years in working with client from a wide variety background. I have found it to be highly effective as it is evidence base, it offers structure, and it helps client set treatment goals.
