Hi, I am Henry a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist in Pennsylvania with over 34 years of experience working with teens and adults ages 14 to 65 who are managing anxiety, mood difficulties, changes in relationships, and life transitions. I am dedicated to supporting my clients with positive regard using CBT, mindfulness, DBT, and a CBT. I am an existential therapist, and I believe in the ability of my clients to create a life that they would like to lead. I help to engage the self healing potential in all clients and I am highly supportive of my clients.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, you will feel relaxed and calm as you simply tell me about yourself. We will be building trust and a supportive relationship. I will help you to identify what it is that you would like to work on, especially focusing on any symptoms that are causing you discomfort that we can attend to quickly. I will help you to identify goals that you might like to work on in therapy, especially identifying thoughts, feelings and patterns of behavior that may be causing you distress or that you would simply like to change. we will review your medical history as well.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have many years of experience in private practice, providing individual and group therapy to clients. I worked in corrections and schools in my career. My strengths are that I am very compassionate and very supportive of my clients. I am present for you and you will have my undivided attention in our sessions. I am inclusive and welcoming to people from all walks of life. I am also a meditator and a yoga practitioner and bring mindful practices into the sessions. I have three adult children and four grandchildren and have wonderful life experiences to draw on that may help you.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I have many years of experience working with diverse clients, including healthcare providers, young professionals, working adults, college, students, and high school students who often have difficulties with anxiety, depression, problem behaviors and life transitions. I believe it is important to address the mind – body – spirit needs of each individual in treatment. I will help you to practice self-care and better self acceptance. I will also help you to set boundaries in order to have a more healthy lifestyle. I’m willing to work with your PCP for any medical treatment you are receiving.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I introduce ACT to my clients to be present focused and to highlight the values you most cherish and to make decisions for change or to live with situations you cannot change.

CBT practice helps you to identify thoughts and patterns of behavior that do not serve us well and change thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to live a more satisfying life. The life you would like to live.
