I have a special place in my heart for highly sensitive persons, and those seeking to step into their personal power. As a therapist, my intention is to hold safe and comfortable space to help you feel heard and unconditionally accepted. I draw from broad career experience including traditional counseling, trauma-informed yoga, art therapy, hospice and loss of loved ones, addiction recovery, classroom education, and personal empowerment.
In our first session, we will begin with brief introductions and then I will ask some targeted questions to gain an understanding of your present circumstances and needs so that I can meet you with the most appropriate structure and support. If you've been in therapy or treatment previously, I'd love to hear what was helpful to you and what was not. We will discuss what you hope to gain from therapy, and what to expect.
Authentic & compassionate connection is most important to me, allowing you the space you need to explore difficulties, learn new tools & embrace inner peace. I am deeply committed to this work in my own life, bringing understanding & richness to the therapy process.
Through use of EMDR, mindfulness techniques, and our unique therapeutic relationship, I offer in-depth therapy for individuals seeking to heal from trauma & attachment issues, depression, anxiety & perfectionism. I believe each one of us embodies a profound capacity for growth and healing, and I’m honored to walk beside you during this part of the journey.
