The first session with your therapist is to allow us to gain rapport and develop treatment goals. I will utilize open-ended questions to understand your treatment needs and extra-curricular interests as well as remain open for questions you may have about therapy and my experience as a therapist. I aspire to create a comforting and empathetic approach and hope to work with you soon.
Ladybird utilizes multiple approaches depending on each client’s individual need, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Art Therapy and Trauma Informed Therapy practices.
I feel my biggest strength is understanding the importance of mental health and having your needs met. When those needs are unmet we do not reach our highest potential and lack the support we need to thrive. Empathy, trust and compassion are also embedded in my soul and assist me in understanding how to best support you.
