My name is Vera Solovieva, I am an MD, Ph.D., Board Certified psychiatrist. I received my medical degree in Irkutsk, Russia in 1966 from the Irkutsk State Medical University. Before emigrating to the United States, I worked as a psychiatrist for 19 years. Upon coming to the US in 1994, I completed the Psychiatric Residency Program at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. I completed a fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in Bronx, NY. Psychiatry is my hobby and love. I speak 2 languages including English and Russian.
In our first session we introduce each other, discuss your problem, try to find reasons for its. Create a treatment plan, medications its benefits and side effects.
I have great experience in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses: anxiety, depression, panic attacks, insomnia, weight gain problems, multiple worries, mood swings, psychotic symptoms, anger spells, fatigue, and memory problems, substance abuse problems.

She did not even introduce herself to me. She started asking about my sleep. You are a therapist learned to say hello and introduce yourself to a severely depressed person that wants to is depressed because no one cares
