In our first session, we will start with brief introductions, discuss confidential issues, and then dive into the client’s specific challenges. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in the plan of care and follow-up sessions.
Having worked with diverse clients living with mental illness, I have been able to develop and provide services reflecting (a) empathy and compassion; (b) listening; (c) a non-judgmental approach; (d) cultural competency; (E) adaptability and flexibility; (f) effective communication; and (g) ethical integrity.
I love working with adolescents, young adults, and geriatrics with schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, bipolar and other mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, substance use disorders, Alzheimer's disease, and other cognitive disorders. who requires maintenance medication management or review.
Trauma Informed Care
I have chosen trauma-informed care as an approach to treatment and have been using it for the past three years. It's a method that deeply considers how past trauma can impact one's life and shapes the way we work together in treatment. The understanding of how trauma impacts health care accessibility has helped premise my treatment care on: "emphasizing safety and trust, collaboration and empowerment, addressing trauma impact, sensitivity to individual needs, building resilience to life challenges, and giving reassurance and continuous support."

He understands that I need to be more successful and I believe he’s trying to severely help me and it’s working. I am at peace a little bit better. Every time we make a change to the old medication I was prescribed I feel less depressed and upset
