I am a fur momma, wife, and entrepreneur. I love the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family & friends. I have a passion for working out, reading, learning, trying new things and scrap booking. I am an ambivert (mix between intro and extrovert) and function off of systems and routines, but can also go with flow! I graduated with my BSW in 2004 from Shippensburg University and my MSW in 2008 from Widener University. I have been working in the clinical field for 15 years, primarily with children and teens, but also have worked with young adults.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My hope after the first session is for the client to feel excited about their therapeutic journey, I hope they feel heard and establish goals that are important to them. As their clinician, I hope to instill hope, and accountability, while taking an integrative approach to assist them in learning and implementing solutions to improve their well-being.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I am here for you! Therapy is a collaborative approach, but the client is in the driver's seat. I want to provide support, be an active listener, engage respectfully, and nudge/push when the time is right. I have a passion for personal development and self-growth! I tend to use CBT often, but I also realize that a variety of techniques tend to be beneficial.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I truly believe rapport building is my best strength. I feel it is necessary to engage in perspective-taking to truly understand the dynamics of another person's life. Validation is important, but simultaneously it is just as crucial to challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors to increase awareness and motivation needed for change. It is my job to listen, actively and reflectively, and prompt clients to gain and trust their themselves and related insight.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Young adults looking for personal growth, self improvement, struggling with stress or anxiety. Adults struggling with ADHD and executive functioning. Parents of children with autism, as I can help them with interventions and selfcare to improve their parenting skills.
