Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Philadelphia. I received my masters degree from Thomas Jefferson University (formally Philadelphia University) and have been practicing for 5 years. I work with individuals of all ages with primary focus on anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. However, I am a firm believer that everyone benefits from therapy- even if nothing feels "wrong". Sometimes we just need someone to actively listen, validate feelings, and provide a safe space and that is what I am here to do. **Please schedule a 15-minute consultation before scheduling an intake appointment **

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, I like to focus on getting to know each other. I like to hear about what your life currently looks like and your daily routines. We will also discuss what the therapy process may look like in order to address expectations (on both ends) and decrease any potential anxiety about therapy that may be present.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have worked with a wide-range of individuals and have learned that building a good rapport with clients makes the therapy process run smoothly. I also am very client-centered and will tailor the therapy process around what is best for each client. Everyone is different and that means that therapy will look different for each person.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with clients that just desire a safe space, more structure, and/or need to work through life's changes. Whether this be changes in employment, grief, break-ups, or feeling overwhelmed- I'm here to listen and help you talk through it!

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT, like any other modality, works great for some and is not for others. If CBT seems like a good fit for you, we will focus on specific goals, thoughts, feelings, and potentially some worksheets (if that’s your thing!)

Person-centered (Rogerian)

This is an approach I use with all of my clients. In this, I hold an open and accepting space for all of my clients. If you don’t feel comfortable in sessions, therapy isn’t worth it. I strive to build that rapport and positive relationship to help my clients grow.
