My ideal client is a child, teen, or adult who is functioning on the outside but struggling internally and looking to change. They are open to change and ready and willing to do the work to make that happen. I work with children, teens and adults who feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, and the exhausting pressure to keep everything together. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative, drawing from min practical, evidence-based techniques. Ultimately, my goal is to provide a safe, judgment-free space where you can move toward a more authentic life.
Your first therapy session is an intake conversation focused on relationship-building, gathering background context, and defining your goals. It is less about diving into deep emotional work and more about ensuring we are a good fit to work together.
I provide exceptional listening, empathy, a collaborative approach to setting goals, and the ability to adapt to meet clients'specific, individual needs. I pride myself on creating a secure, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel entirely safe to be vulnerable and view the client as the expert on their own life and showing genuine curiosity about their internal world. I am exceptional at highlighting a client's natural abilities, resilience, and coping skills using CBT, Family Systems and Interpersonal approaches as well as psycho-education. I empower clients with the tools to navigate future challenges independently and improve their overall well-being to live their best life.
