Life is a journey best told by the author. My story has been told under the title of a therapist, wife, mom, daughter, volunteer, and even a Girl Scout leader. All those titles have given me life experiences that have helped craft a pretty amazing story. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 9 years of therapeutic work experience. My clinical expertise in helping clients with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma/abuse, foster care/adoption, and parenting issues. Knowing that you are the expert author of your story, I am here to help guide you along your journey by growing your strengths, relationships, and resources to assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Thank you for your courage to sign up for therapy and for allowing me to get to know your story.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will include introductions, confidentiality agreement, going over your intake questions, setting goals for therapy, and learning a mindfulness technique to help ease your mind.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Working with parents and families is one of my best specialties. Sometimes pre-teens and teenagers do not feel heard, or parents struggle to find common ground or understanding. These cases are my specialty because whether I am working with the kids or the parents, finding a solution or teaching a family coping skills to help ease the strain on the family is one of my biggest passions in life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Parents, teenagers, LGBTQ+, trauma based services, adoption and foster care

I enjoy our talks. Its nice to just be able to vent and talk without feeling judged or leashed. Cortnie is amazing. Give her a dang raise.

I just had my first session, and I already feel like I’m in the right hands. My therapist was warm, professional, and made it easy to open up without pressure. They listened with real care and asked thoughtful questions that helped me feel seen. I left feeling lighter, more hopeful, and truly supported. Looking forward to the journey ahead.
