New to Grow
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about helping clients build resilience, strengthen relationships, and feel more in control of their lives. I integrate trauma-informed care and mindfulness into my practice to foster a safe space for clients to grow and feel empowered. I support individuals to navigate many different life challenges using practical tools to reinforce long-term success.
We’ll spend time exploring what you would like to be different over time and how therapy might help. I’ll also explain how my approach works and answer any questions you have so you can decide if this feels like a good fit. You don’t need to have everything figured out or perfectly explained—part of our work is making sense of things together.
I integrate cognitive‑behavioral strategies, mindfulness‑based techniques, and trauma‑informed care to help clients better understand their patterns while learning concrete ways to respond differently. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. I’m open about my approach, explain why I suggest certain strategies, and regularly check in about what feels helpful. Clients are encouraged to give feedback and shape the direction of our work together.
I work best with individuals who are thoughtful, self‑aware, and motivated to better understand themselves, even if they feel stuck or overwhelmed right now. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, depression, trauma, or major life transitions and are looking for practical tools alongside deeper emotional insight. I am especially well-suited to clients who want an active, collaborative therapy experience—one that combines understanding why patterns exist with learning concrete skills to create change. My approach works well for people who want therapy to feel structured yet flexible, supportive yet honest, and grounded in both evidence‑based strategies and nervous‑system awareness. Whether you’re seeking relief from immediate distress or working toward longer‑term personal growth, I offer a space that is thoughtful, trauma‑informed, and focused on helping you feel more grounded, empowered, and aligned with your values.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
People can feel as if they don't have control over their thoughts or feelings. CBT looks at how your thoughts about a situation influence how you feel and what you do. I use CBT consistently to support clients changing patterns that aren’t helpful to reduce stress in many areas. CBT is very effective with treating different issues and can help clients feel more in control of themselves.
