We can have difficulties after experiencing a traumatic event. At times, we can feel numb, depressed or unable to regulate our emotions while navigating through life. For parents, it can be overwhelming for children dealing with behavioral issues and/or emotional problems. You are not alone! Here at Helping Hands, I guide my clients to unpack the core of their trauma and experience healing through the word of God. As a trained therapist, I empower my clients with tools that they can apply according to the word of God and receive healing through Jesus Christ. My counseling modalities are Christian Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Play therapy. I work with children and adolescents with abandonment, PTSD, depression, and oppositional defiant/ behavioral issues. I work with adults (females only) with unresolved childhood trauma, anxiety, parental wounds, generational cycles, spiritual issues, narcissism abuse, emotional abandonment, relationship issues, sexual abuse and depression. I am a Master's Level Licensed Mental Health Counselor with training in Trauma Work.
