New to Grow
A bit about me: I’m a true crime junkie, I love painting, bowling, and music in any mood, so trust me when I say there is nothing too weird or too much here. We’ll move at your pace, and I’ll walk beside you every step of the way. When you come into the therapy room, I will be warm, welcoming, and real, because therapy can feel intimidating and nobody needs extra pressure on top of what they already carry.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we take things one step at a time. You can expect warmth, humor, and absolutely no judgment. We will talk about what brings you in, what feels heavy, and what you hope will feel different. I will ask thoughtful questions, help you clarify goals, and begin identifying the strengths you already have. Over time, we will build practical skills, emotional awareness, and a sense of empowerment. My goal is always the same: to help you feel safe, understood, and supported as you build confidence and emotional strength. And yes, I bring humor, jokes, and a little lightness, because healing does not have to feel heavy all the time.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My approach is simple: I meet you exactly where you are. I bring humor, compassion, and curiosity while helping you understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns in a way that feels doable. I often use CBT-based tools like journaling, thought records, grounding skills, and deep breathing to help you focus on what you can control and build autonomy. With younger kids, I use play therapy to help them express emotions beyond words. With adults, I focus on helping you reclaim your voice, reduce self-doubt, and develop the tools you need to move forward with confidence. I am a good listener, a steady support, and someone who believes in creating space where you can finally breathe and be yourself.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I have a ton of experience working with children ages 6 to 13 who struggle with anxiety, trauma, ADHD, emotional overwhelm, and all the challenges that come with growing up. I also love working with adults who feel stuck, stressed, or unsure how to find their voice again.
