New to Grow
I am Dr. Warren Miller, a licensed clinical social worker and educator with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. My practice is built on the belief that meaningful change happens in a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and respected. I bring a down-to-earth, conversational energy to therapy, blending evidence-based techniques with warmth, active collaboration, and a touch of humor. Whether you are managing anxiety, working through major life shifts, or simply trying to understand yourself better, we will tackle it together as a team.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so our first session is all about taking the pressure off. You can expect a warm, relaxed conversation—not a rigid clinical interrogation. We will spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brings you into therapy, and exploring what meaningful relief or progress looks like for you. My goal is for you to walk away from our first session feeling heard, respected, and lighter—knowing you have a genuine partner in your corner and a clear, collaborative roadmap for our work together.
A balance of genuine warmth, humor, and seasoned clinical insight. I know when to sit back and hold space, and when to gently challenge unhelpful patterns to help you grow. Clients find me easy to talk to because our sessions feel like real human connections—never robotic or clinical.
My ideal client is an adult navigating significant life transitions, relationship dynamics, identity exploration, or chronic stress and burnout. They might be feeling overwhelmed by high expectations, stuck in repeating patterns, or simply searching for greater clarity and alignment in their personal or professional life. They appreciate an authentic, conversational, and collaborative space where they can drop their guard and be completely real. Rather than a rigid or overly clinical dynamic, they value practical insight, genuine empathy, and a healthy dose of humor as we work together to uncover root challenges, build sustainable coping strategies, and foster meaningful personal growth.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand the direct connection between how you think, how you feel, and how you react. Often, our minds get stuck in automatic, unhelpful thought loops—like jumping to the worst-case scenario or being overly critical of ourselves—which fuels stress, anxiety, and burnout. Together, we look at these patterns with curiosity rather than judgment, challenge what isn’t serving you, and build practical, real-world tools to help you respond to life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence.
I use psychodynamic therapy to help you uncover the deeper “why” behind how you feel and react today. Often, our past experiences and earlier relationships quietly shape our present-day habits, relationship choices, and emotional triggers without us even realizing it. In our sessions, we explore these underlying patterns with curiosity and empathy, helping you understand where certain behaviors come from so you can break repeating cycles and move forward on your own terms.
