I’m proud to be part of a collaborative, affirming group practice committed to helping individuals and couples create meaningful change. While I bring years of experience and a passion for supporting emotional growth, I also work alongside a team of trusted clinicians who share the same core values, compassion, authenticity, and client-centered care. Together, we specialize in creating safe, supportive spaces where people can explore challenges, build on strengths, and move toward healing. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, identity development, or relationship issues, we’re here to walk with you every step of the way.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, you can expect a warm, collaborative space focused on understanding what brings you in and what you hope to get out of therapy. We'll start by talking about what’s been going on in your life, explore your goals, and begin identifying what support might look like moving forward. You’re welcome to ask questions at any time, we believe therapy works best when it feels like a true partnership. We’re committed to making therapy feel approachable and grounded in real connection. That means showing up authentically, creating safety, and working at your pace. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you're returning after a break, our goal is for you to feel seen, heard, and supported from the very beginning.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What clients often appreciate most in working with us is the combination of empathy, authenticity, and a collaborative approach that centers their unique experiences. We prioritize building strong therapeutic relationships rooted in trust, where individuals feel genuinely heard and supported. Sessions are guided by a flexible, client-centered style, tailored to meet people where they are emotionally, culturally, and situationally. Whether someone is looking for structure or space to simply process, we adapt to what feels most effective and meaningful. This flexibility is grounded in evidence-based methods and a shared commitment to ongoing learning and growth. Across the board, we value open communication, emotional safety, and empowerment. Therapy with us is not about one-size-fits-all solutions, it’s about creating a space where individuals can explore, heal, and grow in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

We work especially well with individuals and persons who may be new to therapy, feel unsure about the process, or have had past experiences that left them feeling misunderstood or discouraged. Many of the people we support come in feeling overwhelmed, skeptical, or just unsure where to begin, and that’s completely okay. We strive to create a space that feels welcoming and nonjudgmental, where you can show up exactly as you are. I’m particularly drawn to helping people navigate relationship challenges, anxiety, trauma, and identity exploration. I also have experience working with couples who are working through communication issues, trust concerns, and big life transitions. While I bring my own experience and style to the work, I’m also part of a team of like-minded clinicians who share the same dedication to client-centered, affirming care. Feeling safe and supported in therapy is the most important part.

My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

We utilize Motivational Interviewing (MI) as a foundational approach to support clients in resolving ambivalence and enhancing their internal motivation for change. MI is a client-centered, collaborative, and goal-oriented method that fosters meaningful conversations around behavior change. Our team of clinicians is trained in using MI techniques, such as open-ended questioning, reflective listening, and affirmations, to help clients clarify their own reasons for change and strengthen their commitment to personal growth. By empowering individuals to take an active role in their healing process, we aim to support lasting transformation through increased confidence and self-efficacy.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

We use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients in identifying and challenging unhelpful thinking patterns while developing healthier behaviors and coping strategies. CBT is a structured, evidence-based approach that emphasizes the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Our team collaborates with clients to set clear goals and implement practical tools such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and exposure techniques. We aim to empower individuals by building skills to manage stress, enhance problem-solving, and navigate life’s challenges with greater resilience and confidence.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

We utilize Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients tap into their existing strengths and resources to create practical, goal-oriented solutions. This approach emphasizes the present and future, encouraging clients to focus on what’s working rather than revisiting past challenges. Our clinicians work collaboratively with individuals to set clear, achievable goals and identify past successes that can guide future progress. By fostering a forward-looking mindset and highlighting personal resilience, SFBT empowers clients to make meaningful changes in a relatively short timeframe, building confidence and momentum in their healing journey.

Forensic Psychology

We apply forensic psychology to bridge the gap between mental health expertise and the legal system. Our team conducts a range of evaluations—including competency assessments, risk assessments, and psychological evaluations tailored to legal contexts. We provide expert testimony and consultation services to attorneys, courts, and law enforcement, ensuring psychological findings are accurately interpreted and ethically applied. In addition to supporting legal professionals, we work directly with individuals involved in the criminal justice system, addressing mental health needs and promoting rehabilitation and reintegration. Through this integration of psychology and law, we aim to support fair, informed legal outcomes and enhance the well-being of those impacted by the system.

Trauma Informed Care

we approach trauma-informed care as a foundational framework for supporting individuals with trauma histories. Our team is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where clients feel seen, heard, and respected. We integrate key principles of trauma-informed care into every aspect of treatment—prioritizing physical and emotional safety, building trust through transparency and consistency, and actively involving clients in their own healing process. Each clinician tailors their approach to the unique cultural, historical, and identity-related experiences of the client, while remaining sensitive to trauma responses. Techniques such as grounding exercises, mindfulness, and self-regulation tools are used to support symptom management. We are deeply mindful of avoiding re-traumatization, ensuring therapy progresses at a pace that feels safe and manageable. By modeling healthy boundaries and encouraging self-care, we strive to help clients build resilience and reclaim their sense of agency in the healing process.
