Hi, I’m glad you’re here. I work with men and women who want to feel better about themselves, navigate life's ups and downs, and continue growing into the person they want to be. Whether you're struggling with self-esteem, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, I provide a supportive space where you can be yourself without judgment. My approach is relaxed, collaborative, and down-to-earth, blending CBT, DBT, supportive therapy, and humanistic principles to help you gain insight, build practical skills, and create meaningful change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, so my goal is to make the first session as comfortable and welcoming as possible. During our initial meeting, we'll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, and exploring your personal history, current challenges, and strengths. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences while also focusing on building a genuine connection and creating a space where you feel heard and supported. We'll also talk about your goals for therapy and what you hope to gain from the process. Together, we'll begin identifying a direction for treatment and create a plan that feels aligned with your needs, helping you leave the session with a clearer sense of where we're headed and how we can work together to get there.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What sets my approach apart is my ability to balance meaningful therapeutic work with authenticity, patience, and a sense of humor. I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves while also feeling supported and encouraged to grow. I believe therapy is about recognizing the strengths you already have, building confidence in your abilities, and also being open to gently challenging patterns or beliefs that may be holding you back. I understand that change takes time, and I meet clients where they are while helping them move toward the goals they want to achieve. When appropriate, I incorporate humor to build connection, ease tension, and bring a sense of balance to the therapeutic process. My goal is to provide a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel understood, empowered, and motivated to continue growing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to work with men and women who are motivated to better understand themselves, improve their self-esteem, and engage in meaningful self-development and personal growth. Many of my clients seek support in building confidence, navigating life transitions, managing anxiety or depression, improving relationships, and creating healthier patterns in their lives. I work well with individuals who are open to self-reflection and committed to making positive changes, while recognizing that growth happens at a pace that feels right for them. My approach is warm, collaborative, and authentic, and I often incorporate humor when appropriate to help clients feel comfortable, build connection, and bring perspective to life's challenges.

My treatment methods

Supportive

I incorporate supportive therapy by providing a collaborative, empathetic environment where clients feel heard, validated, and understood. I help clients identify and build upon their existing strengths, coping skills, and personal resources to navigate life's challenges more effectively. Through encouragement, practical problem-solving, and reinforcement of healthy behaviors, I support clients in developing greater self-confidence and resilience. This approach is particularly helpful for individuals working through self-development concerns, depression, low self-esteem, and periods of emotional stress or transition.

Humanistic

I incorporate a humanistic approach by creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences authentically. I believe each person has an inherent capacity for growth, self-understanding, and positive change when provided with empathy, acceptance, and support. Through a collaborative therapeutic relationship, I help clients deepen self-awareness, connect with their values, and build greater self-acceptance. This approach is particularly helpful for individuals seeking personal growth, improved self-esteem, and a stronger sense of purpose and fulfillment.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that may be contributing to emotional distress and problematic behaviors. Together, we explore the connection between thoughts, feelings, and actions while developing practical strategies to create meaningful change. CBT is a goal-oriented and collaborative approach that helps clients build healthier coping skills and more balanced ways of thinking.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop practical skills for managing emotions, tolerating distress, improving relationships, and increasing mindfulness. I work collaboratively with clients to identify patterns that may be contributing to emotional suffering while fostering acceptance and meaningful change. Through skill-building and real-life application, clients learn healthier ways to cope with difficult emotions and navigate challenges more effectively. This approach is especially beneficial for individuals struggling with emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, and interpersonal difficulties.
