I came into this work not only through professional training, but through what I witnessed growing up in the people around me. I saw women in my life navigating major life transitions, including menopause, often carrying emotional and identity changes that were rarely spoken about openly. Those experiences led me to focus my academic work on menopause, and today I support women through menopause and post-menopausal transitions while also working with adults facing anxiety, stress, and other significant life changes. I also bring awareness to the pressures many men carry in silence, and I strive to create a space where all clients can feel supported, understood, and equipped to move forward with greater clarity and resilience.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is all about you. This session is an opportunity for you to ask questions, share what feels most important, and begin building a comfortable, collaborative foundation for therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My work is strengthened by a combination of evidence-based clinical training, academic study focused on menopause and life transitions, and a deep understanding of the emotional pressures people often carry silently. I bring both professional expertise and real-world empathy to helping adults navigate anxiety, stress, identity changes, and major transitions with practical tools and compassionate support.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve adults who are seeking practical, evidence-based support for managing anxiety, stress, life transitions, and emotional challenges. I work especially well with clients who are motivated to gain insight, develop coping skills, and make meaningful changes in areas such as relationships, career transitions, parenthood, postpartum adjustment, menopause, and other significant life stages. My approach is well suited for individuals who value a collaborative, goal-oriented therapy process focused on building resilience, emotional balance, and lasting personal growth.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been using CBT for the past 12 years. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with clients to help them identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that affect their emotions and behaviors. In sessions, I guide clients in developing practical coping strategies, reframing negative beliefs, and practicing healthier responses to stressors in daily life. I work with adults navigating a wide range of life transitions—including career changes, relationship shifts, parenthood, aging, menopause, postpartum adjustment, and other major life changes—creating a supportive, practical approach that is relevant and accessible to both men and women.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Although I am newly trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I incorporate its evidence-based principles to help clients build psychological flexibility, clarify personal values, and respond more effectively to difficult thoughts and emotions. I integrate ACT techniques alongside CBT to support clients in developing practical skills for navigating stress, life transitions, and emotional challenges. My approach emphasizes helping clients create meaningful change through both acceptance strategies and goal-directed action.
