LCSW, 7 years of experience
New to Grow
I bring with me 7+ years of experience in the mental health field. This has taught me the importance of taking a holistic approach with clients. I believe when focusing on mental health, recognizing external factors and the environment is extremely important. My main focus areas are trauma and I am currently pursuing my PhD with a focus specifically on intergenerational trauma. I help and empower my clients to process traumatic experiences they have had and identify how that shows up in their lives today.
In our first therapy session together, you can expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where we begin getting to know each other. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, any goals or concerns you have, and what you'd like to get out of our work together. I may ask questions about your background, current challenges, and overall wellbeing to better understand your unique situation. This session is also a chance for you to ask questions, share at your own pace, and begin building a sense of safety and trust. There's no pressure to dive too deep right away — we'll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
As a therapist with a strong background in trauma, I bring deep compassion, presence, and understanding to each session. My approach is grounded in creating a safe, supportive space where healing can begin at your pace. I integrate evidence-based methods with a trauma-informed lens, tailoring each session to your unique needs and experiences. What sets my work apart is not just my training, but my genuine passion for helping clients reconnect with their inner resilience, process difficult experiences, and move forward with greater clarity and self-compassion. Clients often share that they feel truly seen, heard, and empowered in our work together.
My ideal client is someone who is ready to explore their inner world with honesty and curiosity, even if it feels uncomfortable at times. They may be carrying the weight of past trauma, navigating anxiety, grief, or life transitions, and are seeking a safe, supportive space to begin healing. They're open to self-reflection, willing to engage in the therapeutic process, and committed to growth—however that may look for them. Whether they’re just beginning their journey or continuing it, they value a compassionate, collaborative relationship where they can show up authentically and work toward meaningful change.
I use trauma informed care as a guiding framework to create a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for clients. This approach recognizes the widespread impact of trauma and its influence on thoughts, emotions, behaviors and relationships. I prioritize safety, trust and collaboration while being mindful of triggers and tailoring interventions to each client's unique needs and lived experiences. By integrating compassion, transparency, and empowerment into treatment, I help clients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and move toward healing without retraumatization.
