I have over 20 years’ experience as a Mental Health Therapist with focus treatment areas: trauma, anxiety, depression, social skills, parent education, adolescent/teen issues, coping skills, suicidal ideation, academics, college prep, drug/alcohol abuse. As a provider, my strengths are in the areas of anxiety, depression. trauma management, education, and vocational stress. I consider myself an Eclectic therapist… if I don’t know about a disorder/issue , I will research it.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders.

Christian Counseling

I have helped clients clarify spiritual concepts and instill a freedom to approach God as a resource for support and increase belief in and development of a relationship with God.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I use TF-CBT with individuals who have experienced a single trauma or multiple traumas. It can help with symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, fear, and behavior problems.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with clients to help them learn to recognize distortions in thinking that are creating problems, and then to reevaluate them in light of reality. Gaining a better understanding of the behavior and motivation of others.

Eclectic

I use treatment methods based on clients individual assessment and needs. (Eclectic therapy, a flexible, individualized approach to psychotherapy that uses multiple therapeutic techniques and theories to treat my client's needs.
