Hello! I am a licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I practice virtually in Florida and Virginia. I earned my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I have had many years of experience within community stabilization, and crisis. The populations I serve come from all different backgrounds ages 13 and up. I have worked with those who have suffered sexual trauma, abuse, neglect, military deployment trauma. As well as clients who struggle with expectations, low self esteem and motivation. Office number 276.335.0001.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, clients can expect introductions. I will be asking questions to get an idea of where the client is and where they want to be. This will include questions on personal history, symptoms, supports and stressors. These questions will help develop a plan to meet a client's goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My clients find that they are extremely comfortable with me as a therapist. That I am down to earth and are direct when needed. I help them see things from a different perspective. Help them gain knowledge and understanding of themselves.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

When working with clients, I want them to leave therapy with a sense of accomplishment. By meeting clients where they are in a non judgemental space where they can work through things. I want to work with clients who want that change. Who wants to put in the effort to be the best they can be.

My treatment methods

EMDR

After careful consideration if the client is ideal for this type of therapy. This treatment will help densensitize a person to their traumatic experiances. It helps with changing the way one thinks about themself and or the how they see the world.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

This treatment is used with helping with identifying thoughts, feeling and behaviors. Through CBT it helps to change the way you think, feel, or behave in situations.
