In our first session I will conduct in-depth evaluation of your mental health, medical, social and present concerns. I value conservative but effective medication management paired with thorough evaluation and rapport-building with my clients. I will provide educational materials and use common metric scales and surveys during your visit. I also often will offer wellness support instructions to support your mental health and overall wellbeing.
My biggest strength is that I am a life-long learner. I read extensively, attend conferences, and keep updated on current literature. I am an empathetic provider who sees the whole person not just a condition. I genuinely care about your well-being and that you will be cared for holistically.
Ideally clients who are committed to their mental health and to their treatment.
I use motivational interviewing to help clients find the motivation to make a positive behavior change. This client-centered approach is particularly effective for people who have mixed feelings about changing their behavior.
