If you are feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, therapy can provide a supportive space where you can talk openly and begin gaining clarity about your next steps. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey and a National Certified Counselor with experience providing therapy in private practice, hospitals, schools, correctional facilities, and assisted living communities. Working in these diverse settings has allowed me to support individuals from many different backgrounds who are navigating emotional stress, relationship challenges, and important life transitions. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported as we work together toward meaningful change. If you feel ready to begin this process, I welcome the opportunity to work with you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and discussing what has brought you to therapy. You will have the opportunity to share the challenges you are facing and what you hope to gain from our work together. This conversation helps me better understand your experiences so we can begin identifying goals and a path forward that supports your growth and well-being.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am my committed to creating a space where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported. I take a thoughtful and collaborative approach, helping individuals explore the deeper patterns behind their challenges while also identifying practical strategies for change. My goal is not only to help clients manage current difficulties but also to build greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and confidence so they can move forward in their lives with clarity and strength.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work well with individuals who are feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or major life transitions and are looking for a supportive space to better understand themselves and their experiences. Many of the clients I work with are seeking greater clarity, emotional balance, and healthier ways of coping with the pressures of work, family, or personal expectations. I am particularly well positioned to support individuals who are ready to reflect on patterns in their lives, develop stronger boundaries, and work toward meaningful personal growth.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps you to identify and explore the ways your emotions and thoughts can affect your actions. Once you notice these patterns, you can begin learning how to change your behaviors and develop new coping strategies.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I incorporate elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop practical skills for managing intense emotions, coping with stress, and improving relationships. DBT focuses on building skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication. I work with clients to apply these strategies to real-life situations so they can respond to challenges in healthier and more balanced ways.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate mindfulness-based techniques to help clients become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and reactions in the present moment. Mindfulness can help individuals slow down, reduce stress, and respond to challenges with greater clarity rather than reacting automatically. In our work together, I may introduce simple mindfulness practices that support emotional awareness, stress reduction, and improved coping in everyday situations.

Psychodynamic

I use psychodynamic therapy to help you explore how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns may influence your current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By increasing awareness of these patterns, you can gain deeper insight into the challenges you are facing and begin making more intentional choices in your life. This approach focuses on understanding the underlying causes of emotional difficulties while supporting meaningful and lasting personal growth.
