I use traditional talk therapy and also provide the option of looking at issues, relationships, and events with a drama therapy lens.
In our first session together, we’ll start with brief introductions, and then explore the specific challenges you are facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
My specialties are helping individuals with issues with depression, substance use, stress, coping skills, grief, trauma, and anxiety. I also work with issues with conflict, parenting, codependency and communication techniques. I love utilizing creativity in the process if you are interested in that framework. By creating a safe environment and attuning to you, I provide talk therapy or a drama therapy/expressive arts approach. Making changes in our lives can be challenging and having support through this process can be a vital component to your growth. My approach is person-centered and strength-based. My goal is to assist you to discover your authentic self. When you are ready to look deeper into some of your unconscious motivations, I have a trauma-informed process of connecting your childhood attachments to your current day.
People I generally see in my practice are those ready to make changes. I often have clients who are returning residence, justice impacted, and in the LGBTQI community.
