Some of my practice specialties include Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, insomnia, Mood disorder, ADHD and PTSD. My goal is to have every patient gain insight into thеir diagnosis, fееls involved in making dеcisions about thеir carе, and leaves with hopе, undеrstanding and fееl empowered in their trеatmеnt decisions. I believe in treating patients holistically, taking into consideration mental, physical, environmental, and social factors.

I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).

I am solution-focused, holistic, and open-minded. It is my goal that patients feel respected and not judged, that their worries have been completely heard and handled, that their treatment plan has been clearly explained to them, and that they have a more optimistic outlook on their future after their session.

First session

Our goal in the first session is to see if we are a good therapeutic fit. We will give top priority to talking about your concerns, getting you started on treatment, and your goals for your care, so you can be sure I understand the problem. Some healthcare professionals might begin treating patients before fully comprehending their needs, goals, and preferences. We'll take the time to look into your past, make sense of the present, and create a plan just for you. I treat many mental health illnesses, but my areas of focus are anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mood disorders. Every person has a distinct history, present, and future. I disagree with the idea of treating or prescribing in a "one size fits all" manner. I appreciate my patients' opinions and feedback.

Strengths

For some patients, this is their first visit to the Psychiatric practitioner. I educate people and respond to inquiries about clinical recommendations, diagnosis, and available treatments. I use my experience in the following areas to help people who have had treatment experience but may not have received the results they desired to make progress in areas where previous approaches have failed. Handling and conquering depression, anxiety, inattention/distractibility, insomnia, mood, and trauma.

Ideal clients

Do you have stress or anxiety? Do you feel sad or depressed? Do you have problems focusing in school, work or life? Were you exposed to traumatic events or loss? Is your child defiant & refusing to cooperate? I can help you find that right balance so you can continue living your life optimally;I am here to listen to you and treat you with honor and respect that you deserve.
