I am Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I have been practicing therapy since November 2015 and licensed since January 2023. The modality I mainly use is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but also pull from other modalities as one modality may not fit all clientele. I have had experience with substance use, self-esteem, couples, anxiety, depression, grief/loss and end of life. I have work with prior law enforcement experience, substitute teacher (Elementary thru High School), and various other vocational experience.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

On the first session I will get a brief history of your life from birth to now, to hear your story about how you came to be at this point in your life. Also, this is a chance for us both to see if we are a good fit for each other, as therapy will only work when you can find a therapist who you can feel comfortable with and be vulnerable if need be. I tell my client's therapy is like Cinderella's show, you have to find the right fit, or it won't work. You may have to try on a few pairs before finding the right one, but once you do, let the healing start.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am truly here to help you heal, grow, and be your best version of yourself, with no judgment as we all have things we need to work on and can grow.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am looking to work with individuals or couples, who are mature adults looking and who are ready to heal and do the work in therapy. Therapy is work and if you are not ready that is okay, but when you ready reach out to me and I can be your guide in the process and/or honest on where you need improvement on too. Which ever you need me to be I am here to provide a non-bias or non-judgmental stance as this is your journey and I am just here to help you a long the way.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I try to use an eclectic approach to my treatment method as each clt is different and responds differently to each modality. I primarily use a mixture of CBT and a variety of other skills from other modalities
