I received my graduate degree from Newman University (2014) and my undergrad at Wichita State University (2008), both in Wichita, Kansas. My Clinical Supervision was obtained through University Health System under their Community First Health/Star Kids program. Something unique about me in my career is that I have served premature babies through centenarians throughout every developmental stage of life. I graduated from Henderson State University with a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I have been a licensed therapist for 9 years which I have worked in outpatient and inpatient settings. I have experience working with the following issues: anxiety, anger, depression, bipolar, psychosis, family issues, and behavioral issues. My two main approaches to treating clients are cognitive behavioral therapy and solution focused therapy. When I treat clients, we work together as a team to develop treatment goals and problem solving skills to develop solutions to their problems. I am also trained in EMDR, a therapy designed to help a person unlock their nervous system to recover from trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other problems that can take hold.
