Hi! My name is Jennifer. I am a dual Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor- Supervisor. I am licensed in Ohio and Texas. My license type is the highest you can get in my profession. It has been my life passion to help people of all ages find the best version of themselves and overcome the obstacles they face. I have worked with teenagers, small children, adults and older adults in all areas of mental health. Serving all populations for over 20 years, I am confident I have the skills and experience to help you each your goals.
The first session is nothing to be nervous about. I will introduce myself to you and answer any questions you may have. We will discuss your symptoms and what you are needing help with. It is just an honest conversation between two people. I will go through the intake form with you, develop a treatment plan and make any needed referrals at the end. Think of the first session as similar to going to a new doctor. You are just filling out a history form, discussing issues you are having and what you are needing help with. The first session is NOT trauma counseling or meant to solve all issues within the time provided. Typically the intake session takes 45 minutes.
Having been a clinician for over 20 years, I have worked with a wide range of clients from older adults to adolescents and children. I have worked in a wide variety of settings from community based work to hospital style settings to private practice. I can work in both states of Texas and Ohio and understand the different dynamics in each state.
I am very comfortable with all ages of people from serving the elderly population and helping adults navigate the aging process to working with teenagers and young children. I have experience working with children and currently work for a non-profit helping families and children in the foster care program.

When i have my converstations or concerens jen is always their to help tells me why i feel and have certain way or things i dont feel judged or feel the need to stsy silent jen makes me feel comfortable and very Professional in are meatings i do Recommend 100 percent
